Wunderbar Together @ the EU Open House
May 16, 2019
On Saturday, May 11, thousands of visitors flocked to the German Embassy in Washington, DC for the annual EU Open House, a celebration of European food, music, art, and heritage held in cooperation with the French Embassy. Wunderbar Together set up shop all day, showing off a few of our virtual reality projects and letting our guests get up close and personal with all things Germany!
Many of our visitors talked with us about what German-American Friendship and cooperation means to them, discussing accessibility, intercultural communication, and the importance of learning from one another.
“I think it’s a wonderful campaign! […] There’s still a lot of support for German-American friendships amongst the citizens of both countries, and that’s why I think it’s exciting to see Wunderbar Together focus on that.”
