A Look Back: The PopUp Tour Hits Atlanta
23.Oktober 2019
From investment in American jobs to Bauhaus workshops and kids science labs, the PopUp Tour stop in Atlanta proved to be a wonderful production and display of German-American friendship. A podcast walking tour from Work Awesome, an array of spins and twirls from Circus Mojo were just part of this great lineup.
The Atlanta stop on the PopUp Tour also saw a variety of panels, discussions and activities with the German business community. Companies such as Mercedes-Benz, WorkAwesome and GACC South held events and workshops for attendees, engaging in discussions about technology, sustainability and the future of transatlantic business relations. According to Dr. Heike Fuller, the German Consulate General in Atlanta, this was the perfect location for these discussions because “the Southeast of the United States is really the hub for German companies.”
Kids were also invited to participate in the PopUp Tour at the Schoolfest, which brought more than 200 middle and high school students from local schools to the PopUp tent for a day of games, workshops, and fun!
