German Member of Parliament Ulla Schmidt Climbs Aboard the WanderbUS!
Wunderbar Together’s WanderbUS is currently in the middle of its second semester of bringing German language and culture to schools all over the country. On the bus, students play games and take advantage of learning technology to boost their language skills and get virtual tour of some of the most exciting places in Germany! Students and teachers alike leave the bus with more knowledge about Germany, fun memories, and maybe even a few prizes!
The bus is currently on its way through the Midwest on its way to New England. At a stop on the Day of German Unity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Milwaukee School of Languages, Member of the German Parliament Ulla Schmidt visited to play games and try out the VR headsets with the students. It was a particularly special visit for Schmidt because she began her career as a teacher for children with special needs in Aachen, Germany.
