MUTEK.SF Festival Highlight: DÖKK
07.Juni 2019
MUTEK.SF brought artists from around the world on the cutting edge of music and art to the Bay Area. Wunderbar Together partnered with the festival to present Dökk, an innovative digital and performance art piece and festival highlight.
The piece, which received a Special Mention by the German Design Award 2019, is made up of ten rooms that make a circular path in which the end constitutes a new beginning. Each room has its own symbolic meaning and symbolism that evokes a different stage of life. In this space, reality is reconstructed as the result of one’s own actions and every gesture has its own particular consequence.
MUTEK will be back with more groundbreaking artists and musicians at its next festival in Montreal, Canada, August 20-25.
