The Bay Area Book Festival Features German Authors
The annual Bay Area Book Festival brings readers and authors from around the world together in downtown Berkeley, California to celebrate literature in a fun, family-friendly environment.
This year, the Festival and Wunderbar Together teamed up to bring the German Wunderbar Together Pavilion to the festival, which featured presentations by four German authors and a variety of activities related to German language and literature.
Through a series of readings and panel discussions, authors Nora Krug, Katja Petrowskaja, Dorothee Elmiger, and Takis Würger shared their views on reading, writing, and cultural identity.
In between readings, guests enjoyed music, games, and face painting while learning more about German language and culture.
