With NORMCORE, an immersive exhibition, Berlin-based artists Sascha Appelhoff and Lena von Goedeke examine the concept of a “norm.”

This summer, a group of enterprising young Germans and Americans participated in a different kind of cultural exchange called Camp Fahrenheit 516. The camp, hosted by the Nassau County Junior Firefighters Association, brought together Junior Firefighters from Nassau County, New York and Haverlah, Germany for a week of intense training.
From August 23-25, the German Academic International Network (GAIN) will hold its 19th annual conference, GAIN19, hosting over 500 participants from science, industry, academia, and politics in San Francisco, California. GAIN19 educates international researchers about opportunities for academic careers and funding in Germany.
