Wunderbar Together brought the Wiesn in a Box to the Denver Oktoberfest, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year! This annual six-day festival attracts over 250,000 people to enjoy German food, beer, and music!
MEUTE Takes the Stage Across the US
MEUTE is not your typical group – the eleven-piece techno marching band from Hamburg, Germany uses percussion and horns to create techno beats that would fit in at any club. They’ve created their own genre that combines driving techno beats with the emotion and flair of brass band music.
Lest We Forget in Kansas City
As a part of Wunderbar Together, the Goethe Pop Up Kansas City is bringing 70 portraits of Holocaust survivors, 7 of which were recently taken of survivors living in the area, to the National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City from September 20 to October 6.
Panorama Streetline in Celle, Germany
Panorama Streetline, headed by photographer Jörg Dietrich, collects selected street views of cities and villages all over the world and puts the uniqueness and traditions of architectural developments of different places into focus. As a part of Wunderbar Together, Dietrich curated a special exhibit entitled “Germany Street Fronts,” which is currently touring the Goethe Pop Up Institutes in Seattle, Kansas City, Houston, and Minneapolis.
