German Undersecretary of State Michelle Müntefering on the Parallels Between SXSW and Wunderbar Together

This weekend, tens of thousands of people from around the world flocked to Austin, Texas for South by Southwest, the world-renowned festival that brings together the top names in music, film, and digital innovation.
German Undersecretary of State Michelle Müntefering is in Austin to present and participate in dialogue and cultural exchange with diverse voices from both sides of the Atlantic. She participated in several events at SXSW with Wunderbar Together partners including the German Haus, Wiesn in a Box, and the Sequencer Tour, a roadshow held jointly by re:publica, the Reeperbahnfestival, and the next media accelerator.
Walking through the busy streets crowded with festival-goers, Undersecretary Müntefering praised the open, collaborative atmosphere at SXSW, stating: “Talking to each other in an atmosphere like this is what we need these days.”
Müntefering also spoke on commonalities between SXSW and Wunderbar Together.
