Still, German Journalist Michaela Pflug, who is currently in the US as a part of the Goethe CloseUp project, was determined to try navigating her new home of Kansas City, Missouri using public transport alone.
German Journalist Anna Clauss Feels Right at Home at Denver Oktoberfest
Anna Clauss, journalist for the German magazine Der Spiegel, is currently in Denver as a part of the Arthuer F. Burns Fellowship, which sends German and American journalists to each other’s countries on exchange. While in her new Colorado home, Clauss took the time to get a little slice of her native Bavaria at the Denver Oktoberfest.
Journalist Anne Marie Hunter “Finds Magic Everywhere” on Exchange in Germany
This year, journalist Anne Marie was given the opportunity to take part in the “Goethe Close-Up” exchange program. Sponsored by the Goethe-Institut and Wunderbar Together, this program hopes to foster strong relations among German and American journalists while immersing them in the other culture. She was featured earlier this month in the Hessische Allgemeine Newspaper, and her second article was just published in the same newspaper in Kassel, Germany.
