The Fugees Academy brought a class of excited students that was eager to learn more about Germany and STEM topics by participating in a BASF chemistry workshop, climbing aboard the WanderbUS, checking out a Discover Bauhaus workshop, and practicing their soccer skills on the Siemens goal wall at the PopUp Tour in Atlanta!
The Joachim Herz Foundation presented its exchange program Azubi Go USA in Atlanta aimed at apprentices in Germany and Georgia.
The fifth and final day of the PopUp Tour in Atlanta kicked off with screenings of two of the biggest Bundesliga matchups of the day. Fans in the home of the reigning MLS Champions Atlanta United gathering under the PopUp Tour tent for a heated match between perennial favorites RB Leipzig and FC Schalke 04.
The PopUp Tour in Atlanta started a new day in the tent with the SchoolFest, which invited over 200 students from all over Georgia to participate in a host of different live shows, workshops, science labs, and more that taught students about STEM as well as Germany and the German-American friendship. This interactive experience was full of fun activities that engaged students with design elements, virtual reality, and future study abroad opportunities!
Following its summer hiatus, the WanderbUS has gone back to school! With its first seven stops complete, the WanderbUS has already covered more than 2,000 miles through seven states in less than two weeks.
