World Leaders Gather in Portsmouth, United Kingdom to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day

On June 5, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and US President Donald Trump joined World War II veterans and the heads of state of 13 other countries for a moving ceremony dedicated to those who stormed the beaches of Normandy as a part of Operation Overlord. The efforts of these brave soldiers led to an Allied victory that turned the tide of the war on the continent and built the foundation for our current German-American friendship.

[Video] Artists-In-Residence @ Mies van der Rohe’s McCormick House

The McCormick House in Elmhurst, IL, is one of only three single family homes in the U.S. designed by Bauhaus architect Mies van der Rohe. The house is the site of a two-person show by Chicago-based artists Assaf Evron and Claudia Weber.
