The Goethe-Institut’s Digital Kinderuni is coming to Boston! The Massachusetts Institute of Technology will play host to “A World of Learning,” which will invite hundreds of students from Boston-area schools to have fun while learning more about the Digital Kinderuni.
Though huge cities like New York and Washington DC may be known for their public transportation infrastructure, that is not the case in most major American cities. Still, German Journalist Michaela Pflug, who is currently in the US as a part of the Goethe CloseUp project, was determined to try navigating her new home of Kansas City, Missouri using public transport alone.

This October, Hollywood’s historic Egyptian Theatre will play home to the German Currents Film Festival, bringing the cutting edge of German cinema to a West Coast audience and screening everything from arthouse films to blockbusters and children’s movies. The centerpiece of the festival will be an appearance by renowned German director Andreas Dresen, who will open the festival with the LA premiere of his award-winning film, Gundermann.
