The PopUp Tour Ends with a Bang

All good things must come to an end – even the PopUp Tour! Today was the final day of the PopUp Tour in Portland, the last stop of this year’s cross country tour. We ended the tour with some of our favorite events, from Discover Bauhaus to Science Slams and performances by Circus Mojo!

“Alicja Kwade: In Between Glances” On View at MIT’s List Center

“Alicja Kwade: In Between Glances” is a solo exhibition by Berlin-based artist Alicja Kwade debuting this fall at the List Visual Arts Center of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Working primarily in sculpture and installation, Kwade explores structures of reality, such as time and space, as well as systems of value that determine how we perceive the world and decide what constitutes the real.

The PopUp Opens Its Doors in Portland, Oregon

With stops in Chicago, St. Louis, and Atlanta in the rear view mirror, the Wunderbar Together PopUp Tour headed to the West Coast for its final stop in Portland, Oregon. The tour will be in the Beaver State all week long with fun events related to German-American art, business, sport, and culture!

The Best of German Cinema Premieres in Los Angeles at the German Currents Film Festival

This October, Hollywood’s historic Egyptian Theatre will play home to the German Currents Film Festival, bringing the cutting edge of German cinema to a West Coast audience and screening everything from arthouse films to blockbusters and children’s movies. The centerpiece of the festival will be an appearance by renowned German director Andreas Dresen, who will open the festival with the LA premiere of his award-winning film, Gundermann.
